The Ontario Cannabis Store made a rather sensitive mistake on its online cannabis marketplace on its first day of cannabis sales.

A product by the name Fleur de Lune, which is described as an “intimate” spray that contains eight milligrams of THC was described for “sublingual” use, meaning under the tongue. The issue is that its producer, Hexo Corp,. intends for it to be applied to the genitals, “particularly for women.”

According to Terry Lake, Hexo Corp’s vice-president of corporate social responsibility, the spray is meant to reduce symptoms such as inflammation and pain.

On the OCS website the spray comes in 30-millilitre bottles and sells for $82.95 which yields about 300 shots of mist.
