US Tariffs that have been implemented against Chinese goods will impact the cannabis industry as well.

According to Arnaud Dumas de Rauly, Co-CEO of The Blinc Group, vaping devices, and batteries, filters and cartridges created for vaping devices are all subject to the new tariffs.

The result will most likely be higher prices for cannabis users, especially those who use it frequently, such as medical cannabis patients.

American companies will now have to find new suppliers within the country to try to maintain a close proximity to current prices, but will still have to pay more per product.

Other input costs will be rising due to the tariffs as well. This is especially an issue for those operating in the cannabis space, as they can not deduct business expenses from their taxes due to the federal marijuana designation.
