The Canadian arthritis society has dedicated a page on its website to those considering medical cannabis as a means to treat their pain and inflammation.

Among the topics are the Impact of Legalization for Patients, Employer Resources, the science behind it, as well as video interviews with doctors and patients.

Among the interviews is Dr. Jason McDougall, Professor of Pharmacology and Anaesthesia at Dalhousie University, and chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Arthritis Society. In his interview when asked about medical cannabis he noted that there is evidence that the plant can fight against arthritis pain, inflammation, and fatigue.

The dedicated source of information from such a prominent organization is yet another example of the legitimacy that medical cannabis is beginning to get across the field of medicine.
