German Health Minister Jens Spahn and his Dutch counterpart Hugo de Jonge have agreed to more than double the shipments of cannabis sent from the Netherlands to Germany amid soaring German demand.

The shipment sizes will go from the current 700 kilograms per year to 1,500, according to the Der Spiegel newspaper.
