This week Colorado Democrat Governor John Hickenlooper signed a bill that will allow school nurses to treat students with non smokable marijuana.

With the bill, school nurses will be able to administer medical marijuana to students with medical marijuana cards after receiving written permission from the student’s parents. The medical marijuana will be stored in locked storage containers and requires that parents give school nurses a doctor’s note that includes instruction on dosage and timing.
