The long-anticipated wait for the cannabis retail process in Ontario is finally over and applicants will find out whether they are approved as soon as Friday.

At 12 a.m. today, the province began taking in license applications online at http://agco.ca/ at a cost of $75.

A draw will be held Friday to determine the 25 retail cannabis locations to be approved. Those selected will then have five days to fill out additional forms and pay a $6,000 non-refundable fee.
