The Quebec government is launching a public education push on the do’s and don'ts of cannabis to ensure people know what to expect come legalization.

The push, which focuses on laws such as who can purchase and consume it, who can grow, and the impact of driving while high, is the first in Canada but is expected to be replicated across the country.

MADD Canada came out in support of the educational launch, saying that it is much needed for those who are still unsure about laws surrounding cannabis and driving, and how safe it is to operate a vehicle after ingesting marijuana.

The campaign come in the form of television advertisements and other media formats.
